Table Inspiration

I keep coming back to this table we sat at in this small coffeeshop in Boston last year. I took a picture of it because it was so awesome.

I inherited a drop-leaf table about 3 or 4 feet in diameter with cute legs (wink wink) but a badly water damaged top. I’m thinking of either painting it a crazy color or doing some kind of striking design on top, and this bee table is a major inspiration for me right now, partly because they aren’t as “trendy” as birds (also beautiful but getting to the point of played-out) and because they remind me of France–Napoleon had a major thing for bees and they’re all over the place in Napoleonic decor over there.

Now, I’m not that artistic, so… we really shall wait and see.

Foreign Feature 2

Yep, my pallet showed up in another foreign decor blog. With no link back to my page… Shameful.

Here you can see it, and maybe even learn a little Portuguese while you’re at it.

Maybe someday it will be picked up by a popular English blog… then this little blog that could will have finally “made it!”

One Year Ago

Today’s our anniversary so I’m going lite on the posting!

Thanks to all who attended our wedding last year, or who we’ve met since then and have been so loving and supportive.
